InvoiceMoi ("the App") is a bilingual invoice and estimate builder, available as a web app at this site and as a companion iOS app. This Privacy Policy explains what information InvoiceMoi accesses and how it's used, for both versions.
Joe Ghalam built InvoiceMoi. This service is provided by Joe Ghalam and is intended for use as-is.
The Web App
The InvoiceMoi web app runs entirely in your browser. There's no server, no account, and nothing you enter is uploaded anywhere. Every invoice or estimate you build exists only on your own device, either on screen or in a .json file you choose to save yourself.
The iOS App
The iOS app stores everything you create — invoices, estimates, company profiles, customers — directly on your device. This is the source of truth, and the app works fully offline.
If you turn on iCloud Sync, the app saves a copy of your data to your own iCloud Drive, under your own Apple ID, so it's available on your other devices signed into the same account. This uses Apple's iCloud infrastructure directly — the data never passes through, or is visible to, Joe Ghalam.
You can also create a manual backup file yourself at any time and store or share it however you like. That file is entirely under your control.
Address Autocomplete
When entering an address, the iOS app can suggest matches using Apple's on-device MapKit search — the same service used by Apple Maps. That request goes directly from your device to Apple; it isn't routed through or logged by InvoiceMoi.
Information We Don't Collect
- No account creation or sign-in of any kind
- No analytics, crash reporting, or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers or third-party advertising SDKs
- No access to your contacts, photos, or other apps' data
Data Sharing
InvoiceMoi does not sell, rent, or share your invoice data with third parties. Data you choose to sync is stored only in your own iCloud account, governed by Apple's own iCloud terms and privacy practices.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete individual invoices, profiles, or customers at any time from within the app. To remove the synced copy from iCloud specifically, use "Erase iCloud Data" in the iOS app's Settings — this doesn't affect anything stored on your device. Deleting the app removes everything stored locally.
Children's Privacy
InvoiceMoi is a business tool intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
