Information Collection and Use
GhalamPhotos requires access to the following on your device in order to function:
- Apple Photos library — to browse albums and display photos and videos as a slideshow. Photos are accessed read-only and are never modified, uploaded, or stored outside your device.
- Location services — to display current weather conditions and show the geographic location of photos on a map. Location data is used in real-time and is not retained.
- Calendar — to detect birthday events and display a brief on-screen announcement. Calendar data is read-only and not stored or transmitted.
All permissions are optional. If you decline a permission, the corresponding feature will be disabled in Settings. No personally identifiable information is transmitted to any server or third party.
Data Storage
The only data GhalamPhotos stores locally is your app preferences (selected album, slideshow interval, display options, etc.). These preferences are saved on your device using standard iOS storage and are never transmitted externally.
Third-Party Services
GhalamPhotos uses Apple's WeatherKit to retrieve weather information. WeatherKit is subject to Apple's own privacy policy. No other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used.
Log Data
In the event of an error, the app may generate diagnostic log data through iOS's standard crash reporting infrastructure. This may include your device model, operating system version, app version, and the time of the error. This data is handled according to Apple's platform privacy practices.
Cookies
GhalamPhotos does not use cookies or any equivalent tracking technology.
Children's Privacy
GhalamPhotos does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app does not include any registration, accounts, or data submission features.
